The process to appeal your Property Tax Assessment is NOW open; you will have until October 24th, 2017 at 5:00 p.m to file. Please call our office to schedule an appointment (708) 788- 6600. Walk-ins are also welcome, but keep in mind that appointments are priority. Also, this is the 2nd and final chance to appeal your 2017 property assessment, that will be reflected on your 2018 property tax bill. This appeal will have no effect on the 2017 Second Installment Property Tax Bill which was due August 1, 2017.
You can also file with the Cook County Board of Review online. If you decide to file online and would like to receive an email with your comparables, please email to us your name, address and phone number. We’ll email your comparables within 7 days. Our office will only be sending out requested comparables for online until October 4, 2017.
Just a reminder If you went to our workshop at the Police Station a few weeks ago, you don't have to appeal again. Since you have already submitted it with the Board of Review.
