We are still doing our “Socks for our Servicemen” initiative. New socks donated will be taken to the annual Winter Standown held on the northside of Chicago. I volunteered in my first Standown a few years ago and it left a great impression, especially as a son of a Vietnam Veteran. Since, the first Standown in 1993, this 3-day event has provided medical services, housing opportunities, employment assistance, food, clothing, and a chance to rest and relax for our veterans. This event is geared toward the hundreds of homeless veterans and veterans that need a helping hand. So, when you stop by, please drop off a brand new pair of socks if you can, thank you in advance.
For questions or concerns regarding your property taxes please don’t hesitate to give us a call at (708)788-6600, email us at email@example.com, or visit us at our office located at the Berwyn Public Health District Building, 6600 W. 26th street, Berwyn, IL.
